I remember Gantry before it was even given a 1 and this week it became 4. 4 doesn't mean it's age, it's a version number, but it has come a long way and these days, everything RocketTheme release is responsive, so it's whatever device and it just works. Responsive is no longer just a dream - it is right here.
And this month, the theme that is released with Gantry 4 is Fracture and if it wasn't for my son fracturing his elbow a couple of weeks ago, I'd love this theme, but as it is, I love Gantry more. But that isn't to say this isn't a fantastic theme, as always from RockeTheme it is, but Gantry gets me excited.
Is it wrong to be excited by a framework? Should I seek help and counselling? I don't care, I love it and you can too by learning more about the brand new Gantry Framework website.
Back to Fracture
Enough of my secret affair with Gantry, now to the theme and this is pretty nice and it also features LESS, the dynamic stylesheet language. LESS extends CSS with dynamic behavior such as variables, mixins, operations and functions and what that means is it gets better.
